Halloween!

Happy Halloween!

I have had a very productive morning!

1) I cleared the front hall of shoes and mail, so I can open the door for trick or treaters tonight.
2) I have gutted 2 pumpkins (carving will commence this afternoon)
3) I have made a batch of meatballs and they are in the oven cooking for tonight's dinner
4) I have found a costume to wear for tonight

And it's not even noon!

TGIF!

Well, waffle night was a complete success! They were so yummy, and most importantly they looked like waffles! I'm so good at making dinner, I should do it more often. But then again I'm sure people would get sick of Grilled Cheese and Prego Spaghetti (my specialties). I need to learn how to cook for reals!

J called me yesterday, and he might get to come home early! Yay! But then he told he's probably going to the Island to try his hand at surfing. Boo! Hopefully he's not planning on being away his whole time off. I didn't think of asking. I'll probably hear from him later today, and I'll have to inquire.

I have a breakfast date this morning, and a dinner date tonight. I just have to find myself a lunch date, and I won't have to feed myself once!

Recipes

Today my mom dug out some old recipe boxes for me and I have spent the afternoon writing out some of my favourite recipes. I figure I will want them when I finally move out, and I might as well start copying them out now! I don't have very many but I guess I'll pick them up along the way.
I guess I should also state that I am not much of a cook. However I'm sure I could be good at it if I tried! Any favourite recipes? Send them my way! I can add them to my collection.

Tonight I'm watching J play lacrosse. I hope they win!
