Life Is Short

One of Allan's friends was killed yesterday. It was something that could have been easily prevented, but that almost makes it harder to deal with. When something like this happens there are always a lot of questions. But unfortunately, most of them will never be answered.

It reminds me how short life really is, and how it can be taken from you in the blink of an eye.

My thoughts are with him and his family & friends.

I'm waiting to see if the sun comes out. It looked like it might, but then some clouds started rolling in. COME ON SUNSHINE! I miss you like crazy!

Movie Making Master

I am so proud of my little brother!

Last night we all went down to the downtown theatre to watch the film competition put on by the local film society. Allan entered a short film he made with a couple of friends. And guess what. He won!!! (I guess I should say they won)

It was really neat seeing one of his creations up on the big screen. And it was pretty great to see him recognized for his work.
